Glovo is a mobile application operating in Barcelona since December 2014 that allows customers to outsource their daily errands to one of our delivery people in order to make life less cumbersome. Users can send or obtain any product in less than 60 minutes for a fixed fee of 5,50 euros. The app connects users with independent couriers called glovers that acquire products from any restaurant, laundry or store in the city and also deliver urgent packages. In other words, Glovo is the new personal assistant available to everyone! Once the order is made, the user can interact with the glover assigned and follow his GPS position in real time. We developed a payment system that is easy and convenient – the client simply enters his credit card details when registering for the app and only gets charged once the product arrives at his doorsteps.
